Sadly, the GPS hooked up to a laptop that he is carrying has stopped

Hopefully the USB webcams are still working too (either the USB cable
has come loose or the stupid Verizon Wireless UI is sitting there "Do
you want me to reconnect ?")
And as it's nonstop, there are no scheduled maintenance windows?
