I have found that the majority of people making these statements take it as SOP that Windows will crash now and then. That viruses are normal. That money must be paid to keep the system clean. That re-installs of applications for unknown reasons is par for the course. That they didn't know their system could run faster if they didn't have all those unknown trojans and viruses running on the system.
