This sounds like an excellent approach. I've been unable to find one so far. I did find a USB wireless AP (Linksys Wireless G). Like the other USB approaches, it scans the locat routers just fine, but doesn't connect. The Airlink 101 USB connects in the clear (not WEP) but drops easily. I would go PC Card in a New York minute, but the card slot on the machine is an "Expresscard type II 54 mm," which doesn't fit my proven PC Cards. Carl, are you still willing to let me try your DWL-G730AP? -- Lan Barnes SCM Analyst Linux Guy Tcl/Tk Enthusiast Biodiesel Brewer -- KPLUG-List@kernel-panic.org http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
