Islam is a religion that follows the teachings and revelations of the
prophet Mohammed. Fascism is a (blurrily defined) political/economic
system characterized by propaganda, militarism, excessive patriotism,
suppression of freedom and surveillance ... IOW like us right not (yea the
new FISA!).

You can run it together in a Germanized word (hmm ... more Germanisms,
like "Homeland Security"), but it's just meaningless mumbo-jumbo that has
nothing whatever to do with Ossama Bin Laden or the Iraqi people. It's
just a boogeyman to make us scared.

We have the names and the backgrounds of the people who flew the planes
into the towers and of the people who planned it too. And there isn't a
fascist in the bunch. Why the hell are we blathering about this stupid
word? Oh, I forgot -- so we have something to be afraid of and hate.

Because of the people they've brought up on charges. Because the top
terrorist brought up on charges was Bin Laden's chauffeur (wasn't there a
comedy where the Nazi war criminal had been "Hitler's pool boy"?).

But the larger problem is we DON'T know and we never WILL know because
it's secret secret secret and they won't even tell FISA judges. Which
means they can do anything they damn well want to, which should scare you
far more than any A bomb scenarios or Islamolibertatians.
