Is anacron smart enough to handle this? Isn't anacron just designed
to handle power cycling?

If anacron isn't suspend friendly, I'm thinking of adding a hook to suspend
that kicks off all cron.daily scripts every time I resume.

Chris

There are probably a dozen other processes (and devices) that may not work properly, consistently, or reliably over many suspend-resume cycles at the present state of ACPI. Anacron may or may not be one of them, but is probably among the least problematic if it doesn't.
