Does anyone have a recommendation for a linux-happy, SMALL (Mini-ITX would be awesome) motherboard that can:

* Take an Intel Core 2 Duo or Quad CPU
* Take 2GB (or more) of RAM
* Have one x16 PCI-e slot
* Two SATA ports

I'm thinking of building a Myth head-end that can locally play optical media AND output full 1080p to an HDTV.

Bonus points for 5.1 or better sound subsystem with digital out (either coax or optical).

Alternatively, will a Mac Mini (2.0GHz Core 2 Duo, Intel GMA 950) have enough grunt to drive 1080p video, if that's ALL it would be doing? Should I use the Mac Myth frontend, or just blow Mythbuntu on there?

Should I instead ask the Myth mailing list? (It's so much cozier here!) :D

Why does it have to be an Intel chip? I saw a really nice motherboard at the Installfest a few weeks ago that would make a great MythTV frontend. It was an ASUS M2A-VM <http://usa.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=3&l2=101&l3=496&l4=0&model=1568&modelmenu=1> The ATI Radeon chip is supported by an open source driver.
