Why does it have to be an Intel chip? I saw a really nice motherboard at the Installfest a few weeks ago that would make a great MythTV frontend. eh... I've tended to have better experience with Intel? Last system I put together (for my current myth system) was quite painless, and I've been happy with the performance of the Core 2 Duo and Quad processors. And I have had much better experiences with nVidia over ATI, especially with regard to their proprietary drivers (which, admittedly, may have changed drastically in the last 5 years.)
When I find something that works for me, I tend to stick with it. :) What would be the AMD counterpart for a Core 2 Quad? Gregory -- Gregory K. Ruiz-Ade <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> OpenPGP Key ID: EAF4844B keyserver: pgpkeys.mit.edu
