A friend of mine needs a distro for desktop use and multimedia - but no internet connection at the place, long story. So - Kubuntu is out of the race. Needed: DVD, mp3, all sorts of video formats, wine so perhaps photoshop works, gimp. All that out of the box from install media without online repositories. Hints? What about Mint?
