Well, I've heard that said before, but I don't buy it. C would be faster
for anyone who doesn't want to take the time to learn a higher level
language, but a good scripting language can beat the snot out of C in
development time and bug-free-ness in the hands of someone experienced
in both. This is doubly true in GUI applications.
