When working in offline mode, does Firefox still retrieve mail
automatically? Probably not. Also, I would have to go through the
extra step of switching back to online mode to actually get the message
sent out. I would prefer that it would hold pending outgoing messages
for a configurable amount of time before actually sending them. This
way, there is no extra work for me and I still get the mistake protection.
It isn't that big of a deal, but it would be a nice-to-have feature.
In the classic Unix approach to such things, this really should be
handled in your local MTA. You should be able to set it not to deliver
mail, and then tell it to flush the queue "when you are ready" (be that
triggered manually or by some cron job).
