Ok, I can configure KMail to "send on check mail" then the
check mail is configured to look for mail every nnn minutes.
That sounds pretty close to what you want, eh?
Yeah, that behavior is useful. It is the same as you can get from
Outlook. I still think having a specific time that a message incubates
before it is sent would be better.
Yeh, this is not quite the same. But close enough for many purposes.
This is a lot of discussion for being started by a flippant remark about
how to prevent send button mistakes. :)
You hit a nerve. Almost everyone has sent a message
that they wished they had not sent. I did just that once
on this list. It was so bad the list traffic just stopped dead
for a day or so ... I surely did wish that message had not
gone out.
I just found another option. In thunderbird with the enigmail (pgp)
extension, there is a checkbox "Always confirm before sending" in
OpenPGP > Preferences > Sending
It pops up a dialog: "Send PLAINTEXT message to ...".
Although it's yet another are-you-sure behavior, I'm going to try it for
a while anyway.
