OK, how do you feel about compiled BASIC? :D
PGA
(chuckle) Just 2 days qualify as "some day" for you?
Sorry, I've been block deleting the thread.
BASIC makes me gag, _but_ interpreted languages give you instant feedback.
Compiled languages make the development cycle far longer _but_ they tend
to provide formalism and structure. Hmm ... what could I do that would
throw away the good from both options and distill that which is bad?
I'VE GOT IT! Compiled BASIC!
(chuckle) Very well put. I wouldn't know about that though.
Personally, of all of the very *few* attempts I made to compile BASIC,
not even one of them worked, at all. I never knew why. But it wasn't
that important to me so I just moved on. I figured that I would have to
buy some package to be able to do it. And I didn't want to spend the
money on what amounted to be little more than a hobby, sort of.
