Hm.

Tried. It didn't really do what I want, and then it crashed firefox, and
now firefox is totally hosed (I can go to one url, and one only, per
startup of firefox. Odd.).  Uninstalling Firebug didn't help.

Oh, well, time to wipe out all traces of Firefox and reinstall. And load
up the useful extensions.

Don't feel like doing that just now. Maybe later.
