IIRC the only people who seemed to really adopt it were DEC (much like OSF/1), and even they didn't really use it for distribution. In the end, nobody was particularly interested in making their stuff run on other people's architecture, and ANDF always seemed like it would put you at a disadvantage relative to native stuff.
