I will check him out. I would argue though that another equally
important dynamic is corporation versus corporation. Or tribe
versus tribe. I agree that countries matter less and less.

When the "butter queen" sits down with the "cow king"
deals that matter get done. Tribes and markets define the
future, not countries.

Laughter and singing. It is Paulo's birthday.  He is my daugheter's
boy friend. I like him.

My wife's sister "Baby" is here on her first visit from the Philippines.
Baby is about 50, a successful rural business person (corn and rice
farming)  with seven children. Everyone is speaking the provincial
language, Kapmpangan. I do not understand more than two words.

I have family in five countries. That family goes into another
dozen countries. The family is more important than any of those
countries.
