If I'm not mistaken, MIT has replaced their venerable SICP/Scheme based course
with a Python based one.

Anyone what book they use?

I'm skeptical it can be as low level and theoretical as a Scheme based
course....unless!....they perhaps focus on a subset of Python and show how one
might implement a *Python interpreter* ??? It seems to me all the syntactic
sugar would make that harder than Scheme.

Or!!!??? Perhaps MIT just punted and decided in the future students don't need
to learn this low level stuff anymore?!? :)
