Not at all. Fully compliant Common Lisp systems implement all the Lisp goodness *plus* CLOS. That's a huge effort and only a few folks ever got it together enough to make a complete implementation. That said, there are plenty of CL-based systems that have been built, including many that are still in use today (IIRC, one of the major airfare booking web sites uses it).
