I'm having some issues here and hope someone here can
shed some light for me.

I am trying to install GTK+-1.2. This is needed so I
can get gtk-configure for Nessus install. I tried to
install gtk+-1.2.10 and it needed glib 1.2.8 or
better. I installed glib-2.6.2 (i figured this is
better than 1.2.8 right?) Everything on the glib
install appeared to run correctly. I went back to
gtk+-1.2.10 and ran ./configure and at the end I still
get the message that glib 1.2.8 or better needs to be
installed. What am I missing? Is this normal to have
this much trouble getting these installed?
