I've been playing around with ssh and tunneling. I want to get a remote site to check email through ssh or similar tunnel, but with little or no user intervention. I've played around with plink and I can create a tunnel with an key, but it leaves a DOS prompt window.
Is is possible to have 2 linux machines tunnel to each other and have the local user connect to the local linux PC and the remote linux PC will talk to the smtp/pop server?
