This makes thing a little more difficult, depending upon what the
installer was configured to do. I haven't built apache and php from
scratch for a long time, so I don't remember what the default install
target is. I suspect it's /usr/local/apache, at least that is where I
would start looking. You could read the Makefile in the original build
directory and perhaps get a clue from it, or run ./configure --help to
see if it shows you the variables as they are set. Good luck with your
