Anyone have any experience with either the Dell 1700 or 1710 printers? Best difference I can see is no _listed_ Linux support for the 1700, and slower processor for the 1700. for $50 more, the 1710 has almost double the speed processor, and lists linux as supported.
Correction, the 1700 DOES support linux, and pricewatch shows it available for $134, with $0.019 to $0.034 cost per page depending on which toner cartridge you purchase.
Looks like that'll be the replaceent B&W printer for me, I can live without the extra speed for the difference in price. This is just for home use.
Still would like a review of the printer if anyone has any experience with them. I know Dell's support sucks.
