On the assumption that our general meetings will be on the second
Thursdays for the next few months, I'm volunteering to make a
presentation at the May 12th meeting. I'll be out of town for April
14th, so May is the earliest I can be ready.

My topic would be Rapid Application Development of PostgreSQL C/S
applications using Tcl/Tk.

I presented on something similar to this a couple of years ago (if I can
believe the time stamps on my archives) when the LPSG was doing the
"yaab" project. Since that time I've added a great deal of abstraction
and functionality to my development system, including server-side Tcl;
dedicated TCP/IP connections; and (by May I hope) ssh tunneling over the
(big bad) internet.

I believe there is enough material to fill both halves of the meeting. I
also plan to prepare a CD with the tool set.

Please be assured that rejection won't hurt my feelings. I'm aware that
sometimes my interests ("client server, for chrissake!") are a little
dated.
