FYI,
I've started work tonight on getting amavisd-new, spamassassin and clamav working together on sparkplug in order to provide some level of spam and virus filtering for our mailing lists.
I've installed the latest amavisd-new from sources. Debian's package is nearly two years out of date. Spamassassin and clamav from Debian should be good enough. All the dependancies for amavisd-new were installed via debian's sources.
seeing as it's after midnight, and I'd like to actually sleep before work in the morning, I'll try to finish this tomorrow. I'll send an announcement when it's all hooked up.
