WAAAAYYY back. I think we go back to Redhat 5.2, also images of Corel, Thizlinux (I think that came with carl's little PC) plus some test versions.
Also I lied about the disk size. For some reason I thought Rich had bought a 250GB, but it appears that it is clipped at 132GB. This may be due to the motherboard. I think it's probably time to spring for a new machine anyway. I discovered that the hard drives (one 10GB, one 132GB+ on a common IDE channel) are NOT running in DMA mode, and I can't seem to force it on. This SERIOUSLY slows down data transfer. The machine actually stalls while copying iso's around. I should also mention that Pandora has a new motherboard. I'm not sure what I did, or if just messing around with the machine triggered the failure, but the motherboard popped. I put in an ASUS P5A-B that I had sitting around and it seems to run fine. It has a K6-2/400 processor in it. I was able to use all the other old parts, so at least nothing else got fried.
