I don't know if anyone has tried to get a room without one being scheduled. However, there have been a few times where our officially scheduled meeting didn't show up on the paper list post near the entrance of the SDCOE complex. In that case, the maintenance staff would open the room for us. It helped that I was wearing an official looking badge.
