I don't know. How would you trace the confirmation step?
All I know is that I deleted the user and member-dir with that name, and
was puzzled to see it present after awhile (maybe 30 mins). I thought I
forgot to delete something. I deleted again, and then after another
while, I noticed a newly created dir (and user) of tha same name again.
