is (repeatedly?) re-joining
This is a member that I deleted, for viagra ads.
(Now at 297 dirs, 298 members)
There's nothing in the dir, because of the redirect-hack, I suppose.
I just removed the user from the member-role (now has no roles). Just
in case he tries to access after the Members is re-opened.
Overnight, there have been 3 (+3 while composing this!) new users that
registered. We must be on a suckers list, eh?
Of course, they didn't get any files into their associated member-dirs
because of the mod_rewrite lockout on the Members path.
now the count is 304 members, 303 dirs
So far the easiest cleanup recipe is:
in ZMI, click on Members, giving
"ATBTreeFolder at /kplug_main/Members", including a count of members
and individual edit capabilities
-- but just click on the "view" tab,
giving the Plone page "Search for users"
on that page, click the "Contents" tab giving
Members "Container for portal members' home directories"
click on the "modified" column header twice to get most recent
additions at the top of the list
to examine content, open on new tab & close tab afterwards
(holds your place, and sorting)
repeat for each page of 100 users (I haven't figured out how to get
all at once, <sigh>)
When all the smoke clears, I'll write up my discoveries and post it in
the admin section of the wiki.
Footnote to above recipe:
On the "search for users" plone page,
set the "Last logged in" dropdown to (say) "Last month"
and the "Roles" selection to "Member"
gives likely recent account additions
golly, aren't these gui interfaces just _so_ much nicer than command line!
