The Styrofoam plug for the new cowl looks like an over-size marshmallow; sanding the micro to final shape and smoothness. Next will be the fiberglass wet lay-up. I did go on a eleven-day cruise to the Caribbean over Thanksgiving holiday; so, did not hit a lick on the new cowl for two weeks. The old cowl is now in Michigan and due to re-appear on another KR-2 in 2014.
