A band saw may be handy but I built my KR using a hacksaw to cut aluminum and a 4 inch stationary belt sander to shape the parts. Maybe that's why it took me 13 years. :-) Personally, I'd spend my tool money on a good compound miter saw and a good drill press. Larry Flesner
