Looks like you're moving right along on your project. Are you using aircraft grade spruce? It's hard to tell from the photos, they are a bit blurry, but the grain on one piece looks widely separated and the other looks like it has a knot on the end grain. The photo makes it look like white pine you'd get at the lumber yard. Just checking.......... Larry Flesner
