Brian, Check out the "Airventure IFLY" system. I think it will work on more than apple, you can pay a small fee and have it work on maybe three devices, and get a complete IFR data base for $109 a year. Dan Heath has the weather module for $400 or so. That should give you everything you need at reasonable cost. The IFLY is a complete "sectional" overlay. I think it's great software.
