I have been evaluating the Ifly app on my phone for the past few weeks. As I said previously, I think I have evaluated nearly every other app out there and they all had some issue or another that I could not live with. There were just a few small issues I did not like with the Ifly including not having fuel prices, not overlaying the weather on the sectional charts, and not having seamless charts, but I just spoke to Shane at Ifly and they are fixing all of those issues. They have bought the fuel price database and will be integrating it hopefully before Sun N Fun. They will also have the seamless charts and weather overlay on the chart soon. They are working on many other improvements that make this program the hands down winner in my book. I assume that all of these enhancements will be on their hardware units as well as their apps. This is also one of the few apps that will work on both Apple and Android.

I think it will work on more than apple, you can pay a small fee and have it work on maybe three devices, and get a complete IFR data base for $109 a year. Dan Heath has the weather module for $400 or so. That should give you everything you need at reasonable cost. The IFLY is a complete "sectional" overlay. I think it's great software.
