And it goes without saying that if you stand on the brakes while landing, you're probably going to have to buy another prop and crank if you have a taildragger! Full brakes is a runup phenomenon, at least in my two KRs. Wheel-landings on a short field are a delicate balancing act when on the brakes, to keep the prop off the ground.
