For sake of discussion, not an endorsement, the following is on their web page. If it's true, it is much more accurate then the $260 vertical card compass on my dash that, basically, is trash. Also, the CR2032 battery is very common. You probably carry a "backup" in your car remote in your pocket. Some remotes use two of them.
