The layup around the spare is actually more than a 90 degree wrap. I was able 
to find a couple of 1/2 inch super light angle, I think it came in 10 foot 
pieces. I closed the gap past the 90 degrees and then covered the full length 
of the inside with duct tape as a release agent. Did the layup and the clamped 
on the angle to promote a super tight radius. Let dry 24 hours and then pop off 
the angle.
