That's the way my wife and I looked with my KR2. After 1 of use put on weight
?I had to by a bigger plane. The Kr then became a KR1. About landing on a grass
strip. I did that on a 2500 foot strip for 10 years. Sometimes when the lake
was up it would be 2200.? Airport is 30F look at google map. I had a tail wheel
not nose gear and that will make a difference. I would come in at 5 mph over
stall about 800 fpm and flare. stopped every time. I miss that plane. I now
have Less Palmers KR and it is very heavy and is not as much fun. Poor thing
has been sitting for 2 years and I hope after my engine rebuild on my 14-13-2
Bellanca Cruiseair. I am going to spend some time on it and try to race it.

That's easily dealt with solo, as you can just slide over a tad in the
seat, although a center stick limits that.

back door of Larry Flesner's Tripacer.? Also, note how "short-coupled"
the KR2 is...the horizontal stabilizer is very close to the wing, hence
the pitch sensitivity...
