Bob, Yes, that is the original Revmaster design. My Revmaster engine and heads came that way. They work, but you must remove the valve cover before you can access the plugs. When I replaced my heads, I replaced them with the Great Plains version - much better.

I don't see how plugs can be used there unless the tubes are supposed to be extended up through the the valve cover. The holes are opposite the original plug holes. Does anybody know if these are actually for plugs or how this is supposed to work?
