I too would glass the bottoms and sides. I recently purchaxsed a KR-2 which had a hard landing and pushed the wheels through the top of the wing. I noticed the paint was cracked on the joint line on the bottom of the fuselage. I did a little investigating and found the bottom center of the longerons was rotted almost half way through. The sides were still solid so initially they looked fine. Glad I checked.. I will be glassing mine.
