++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ And well you should be. As I stated in my first post, the CG has to be correct at whatever the airplane weight turns out to be. I would say that within reason, CG takes priority over total weight. A light airplane with a bad CG location will probably "do you in" quicker than an airplane slightly over gross with a good CG location. Additional weight will certainly hurt performance but the airplane should be flyable, again within reason. You have to be comfortable with the airplane you are building or you aren't going to fly it when you're finished. Let common sense prevail !! Larry Flesner
