After another disappointing test this morning, Jerry and I decided to put an end to this problem once and for all. We are putting posts, at the bend. We will cover the center with 3/16 Plexiglass which will require only a slight bend. Then we will put 1/8 Plexiglass on the sides because that will require slightly more bend. No more heat forming. We will just warm it up in the oven before applying. That is it, done deal.
I am making the posts now an if all goes well, I will be putting in the windshield within the next two weeks. When this is finished, you won't believe how close we will be. I want to thank all of you who have offerred advise and help during this difficult time. I just wish I knew how Marty and some of the others were able to pull it off. N64KR Daniel R.
