Reading Dana's learned dissertation, I picked up one point... If your medical is not current, but you HAVEN'T BEEN DECLINED, then don't ask/ don't tell. Do not apply for a class 3. Lay in the weeds and wait. Then say you're "golden" WHEN THE SP RULES ARE IN EFFECT.
