If the fuselage is kept dry it doesn't need any further protection just yet. I covered my fuselage wood with the 1.2 or 1.4 oz (deck cloth) advertised in Wick's and it worked quite well. It will radius the corners if necessary. The weave is so fine you can basiclly start with primer. Larry Flesner
