During my trip to the Gathering and back with Richard Shirley, we encountered some pretty heavy crosswinds. In Morriarty, NM we had a crosswind that was 15 - 18 with gusts to 21. While the landing wasn't pretty it certainly was doable. We seem to get 6 - 10 mph crosswinds as the norm in the areas I fly. My KR handles them very well, probably better than me.
