I too use a choke on my zenith and find it perfect save for one thing. When
starting, you need one hand on the choke, the other on the starter button,
and the third hand is on the throttle! I need to set it up so that the
throttle is closer to the button. When the engine starts, throttle 1/3 in,
she will rev right up there....so be ready to throttle down quikely. Havn't
been able to get a immediate start with less than 1/3 throttle. It's a bit
like the cars I learned to drive on 50 years ago except this choke is spring
loaded and returns to off position as soon as you release it. Great! The
zenith carb is set up that way.
