Has anyone used spoilers on the KR?
It surprises me that with all the "improvements" folks have tried over the
years, I've never seen any mention of spoilers on the wings. It shouldn't be
any harder than building a belly-board, but is going to take up some space in
the wing and add some weight. Should do the job once the plane is on (or a few
inches from) the ground.
But hey, if you wanted to fly slow and land short, you wouldn't have built a
KR, right?

I wonder how the stall speed compares between the stock wing and the Diehl
wing skin wings. I think I need a belly board cause I think this thing is going
to float forever.

More lift = more drag. Land slow, fly slow.
