I have a few of them. I'll throw one in my truck. Give me a call tomorrow at 904-536-1780 if you need me to send it.
Speaking of borrowing instruments, I have a Westach dual oil pressure/temp gauge in my Mustang that has a needle that sticks at 140 degrees. I have to bang on it to get it past the sticking point and have been living with it for a while because I can't fly without it and it is a few hundred bucks to just buy a new one. Anyone have one I can borrow for a few weeks? It is the older type with the round connector on the back of it, not one of the newer ones with the individual pins that the wires slip on to. Anybody have an altimeter I can borrow for 2-3 weeks while mine is off being repaired? I'll gladly pay shipping both ways. For some reason my adjustment knob just locked up overnight. Must have been a meteorite hit or something else that went bump in the night. Oh, and in the interest of being helpful, my avionics buddy informed me that foaming and glassing my transponder antenna was not one of my brightest ideas, as it would change the frequency of the antenna and possibly stress the transponder. This was pointed out as we tried to figure out why my transponder doesn't work. We think it's the output transistor, and will troubleshoot later this week, hopefully. My big push is over at work, so I'm going to try my best to take afternoons off for about the next two months. First on the agenda is a spinner, and then intercom, then landing, nav, and strobe lights, etc. Paint might be in 2008...
