Bobby Murty called me a little before seven this morning..said it was clear and calm in Pueblo. It's a little over two and a half hour drive, excluding rush hour in Denver and Colorado Springs. Anyway I watched Bobby fly my plane for the first time since I bought it about ten thirty this morning. I've changed engines from the original VW to a Continental and done a few other things over the last couple of years. Bobby did several circuits around his strip and a few touch and goes before he landed with a giant grin on his face. Now if I can muster up the courage, I've only got about a hundred hours of which only seven and a half are tail dragger time, it'll be my turn!
