I have been studying the pin outs and checking everything on my plane for proper wiring and grounding to try and get it done properly. On the transponder pin diagram there is a note that reads "transmission may me suppressed by either grounding pin one or applying a positive voltage to pin 15". Can someone explain what that means? I have not made either connection. Do I need to?
