This is not directly KR related, but probably has impact on everyone of

There is a lot of huff and puff in UK about mandatory fitting of Mode-S
transponders on all aircraft, including even old aircraft that never
even had radios and have no electrics, microlights powered hang gliders
etc. Several people have mentioned ADS-B, but I must admit my
ignorance. So a couple of questions.
* are there any light aircraft in USA flying with ADS-B ?
* what is the installation cost of an ADS-B setup ?
* where can I find a good ADS-B primer
