What do you expect? Schedule a Gathering during the month that typically has the worst weather across the nation, that we get all year, and I guess you should expect bad weather. Here is a good question for you. How do you know the month when there are the most hurricanes? Answer, the month that they have the KR Gathering. I and several others have been trying to convince the "powers that be", for several years, to change the time of the gathering. I understand that the month of October, offers the best chance for good weather across the nation, but I don't care when it is, September is the worst.
I almost ceased to exist, returning from a gathering one year in my KR, and last year was very tricky in the 175. I will never risk my life to fly to a gathering again. The weather will have to be perfect.
